Ingredients:
For the burger patty:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
For assembly:
2 brioche burger buns (toasted)
2 slices sharp cheddar cheese
A handful of fresh greens (arugula, parsley, or lettuce)
2 grilled sausages (bratwurst or smoked sausage work well)
1 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
Shape the patties
Form ground beef into 2 thick patties. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cook the patties
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side, depending on doneness preference. Add cheddar cheese slices on top and let them melt during the last minute of cooking.
Grill the sausages
While the burgers cook, grill or pan-fry the sausages until nicely browned and cooked through.
Toast the buns
Spread butter on the inside of brioche buns and toast until golden brown.
Assemble the burger
Place fresh greens on the bottom bun, add the juicy cheeseburger patty, then top with the grilled sausage. Cap with the toasted top bun.
Serve hot
Enjoy with fries, onion rings, or a cold drink.
