Balsamic Garlic Grilled Mushroom Skewers



Ingredients:

1 lb (450 g) whole button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned

3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil

2 tbsp (30 ml) balsamic vinegar

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp (15 ml) soy sauce

1 tsp (2 g) dried thyme or oregano

½ tsp (2 g) black pepper

¼ tsp (1 g) salt

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, soy sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Add mushrooms and toss to coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Thread mushrooms onto skewers.

Grill skewers for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until mushrooms are tender and slightly charred.

Garnished with fresh parsley and served hot.
